I have been working on getting all of my "Life Visions" into print. I am compiling my artwork, narratives, thoughts, guided writings and such all into one book! I so look forward to getting it published and out on shelves everywhere for you, my fans, to read. I have been so blessed to be able to share so much so far. The nudges are happening and I am answering as best I can. Thank you for all your support and helping make this possible.

New! Handmade Art Glass

You may have noticed a new item being offered on the website. Well it all began with that never ending goal of wanting to make my art available to EVERYONE. I took my thoughts and energy back to an original concept I used years ago - wearable art! This time I found a medium that is so shiny and full of potential, which is art glass. Now every time I paint, I have the option to convert the image of the painting to jewelry. I am so excited to be making these beautiful pieces. I use only the highest quality materials I can find. I am currently working on new graphic designs specifically for these pieces. I hope to have a new collection and maybe even a series available to show soon. These pieces were a great success during the holiday season. I plan to offer them for as long as I my hands can make them!

Back by popular demand...Pet Portraits!

Due to many requests and commissions, I am offering pet portraits once again. I began my business while still in high school doing pet portraits. As things have developed, my life's path led me on a journey away from them for a while. I enjoy doing them so very much. It is so worth it when I see the client's reactions. Don't forget to get your request in soon! Thanks so much to everyone's continuing support of the arts. To view some of the pet portraits already done, go to my Artwork Collections and then scroll down until you see the collection called "Pet Portraits".

Once the holidays were over, I decided to pull back on current projects. I am on hiatis currently doing some volunteer work and...yes...a new series. Hopefully it will be available and online at least for you to view by this Fall. I have been inspired by so many things and it will be revealed within this new series. I hope to deal with more textures and maybe even some more nature oriented pieces. God is still nudging me in some directions that I hope to fulfill, of course only with his help and guidance and will. Who knows what will be next?! Tune in and see...

I can finally talk about my latest project. It has been at least 6 months in the making. I have had to lay low and keep everything a secret. The opening of the new Candy Caboose took place in late September! What a big and challenging job this was. It is so rewarding seeing it up and everyone enjoying it so much! Thanks to all those who have responded and gone to see it. I am so very excited to have been a part of this project. From designing the logo right up to making each and every piece, it has been a fun trip for me. There are more pieces to come soon. Go see it and enjoy!

You can view the pieces by clicking on my Artwork Collections/Candy Caboose Display.

Approaching the deadline

36" x 36" called "Breaking Out" Latest painting completed yesterday.

It's almost time for my Senior Thesis Final Exhibit at the University. I have dreamed of the moment, but did not think it would ever really get here. I picked up my cap and gown, etc. today. It made it seem even more real. It is hard to really put into words what it feels like to have reached a goal after all this time. I know I'm not the only one who has gotten their degree a little later in life nor am I the oldest to do so by any means. All the same, it does feel like a real big deal right now. My son is even more excited than me. It will be good for him to see this I think. I hope he doesn't choose to take the long road to college, but if he does, at least he will know never to give up his goals maybe.

As I feel the need for speed headed out, I can take time to look back now and know I did it!

Check!
